How to cook the nuts
It turns out that walnuts can make jam, and of its unripe fruit. This makes jam wherever walnut grows. This process is time-consuming, but the result is worth it.

water; slaked lime; sugar.

Take fruits walnut so-called breast maturity - these fruits are green, not yet designed the peel. Clean them from the top of a green crust, cover with cold clean water and leave for two days. Change the water in the container 3-4 times a day.
Zagotovte lime water. To this mix cold pure water and slaked lime in a proportion of 10: 1 (that is, for example, 5 liters of water, take 500 g lime). Allow to mix for 3-4 hours, then filter using cheesecloth.
Put nuts in lime water for a day, often stir them. It is necessary to get rid of the bitterness. After a day thoroughly rinse the nuts and pierce them with a fork in several places. Then again, dip them in cold water for two days.
Soak the nuts in boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Then drain the water, poured them in a colander.
Prepare the sugar syrup: in sugar (with a rate of 1 kg of sugar per 1 kg of nuts) pour a glass of water and bring to a boil. In the boiling syrup, put a few buds of cloves, juice of one large lemon and nuts themselves prepared in the manner described above.
Dilute the resulting mixture to boiling, let cool and bring to the boil again. Repeat the procedure three times, then cook until cooked jam. When it is ready, let it cool and pour into clean, dry jars.
