How to make a compote of apples or pears
Stewed apples or pears - healthy drink containing a large amount of vitamins. Prepare it can be fresh, dried or frozen fruit. Drink fruit compote can be at once, and you can make harvesting the winter.
You will need:
Compote of fresh apples or pears 500 g apples or pears; 1 liter of water; 0.75 cups of sugar. Compote of dried apples or pears 200 g of dried fruit; 120 g of sugar; 2 liters of water. Stewed apples or pears for the winter: 1 kg of apples; 500 g of sugar; 2 liters of water.

Compote of fresh apples or pears Wash the fruit in plenty of water. Cut them into 6-8 pieces and remove the core. Put in a pan prepared fruit, fill them with hot water and put the pot on the fire.
Bring contents of the saucepan to a boil, reduce the heat. Stir in stewed sugar and mix thoroughly. Cook compote with a slow boil for 10-15 minutes. Ready compote cool and serve.
Compote of dried apples or pears Wash the dried fruit in warm water 2-3 times. Put them in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
Bring compote to a boil over high heat. Then lower the fire, add the stewed fruit sugar, stir it. Cook until soft dried fruit compote.
Stewed apples or pears for the winter Wash apples or pears, cut them into 4-6 pieces and remove the core. Prepare syrup of sugar and water, bring it to the boil.
Put the prepared fruit into the boiling syrup, bring all to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
Transfer the vegetables from the pan into a sterilized glass jar. Fill it to the top with boiling syrup and roll up metal lid.
Turn the jar upside down and wrap it up to complete cooling. Keep compote in a cool dark place.
